A message from the Executive Officer

Another month has flown by with the ACEVic staff and Board continuing to work closely together to support and strengthen the Adult Community Education (ACE) sector. Whether it’s behind the scenes or out in the community, our focus remains on advocating for providers, building strong partnerships, and delivering meaningful outcomes for our members.

In April, we were pleased to host our Annual General Meeting, which was a great success. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the event—it was a valuable opportunity to reflect on the past year’s achievements, connect with colleagues, and share our collective vision for the year ahead.

We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to our outgoing Board members—Nathan Isles, Melissa Gifford, and Bill Daly—for their service and dedication to ACEVic. Their contributions have helped shape the organisation and strengthen the sector. We’re also delighted to welcome Rebecca Smith as a new Board member and look forward to the insight and experience she brings to the team.

Planning is well underway for our 2025 Conference, and we’re excited to be shaping a program that reflects the diverse voices, needs, and priorities of the ACE sector. You'll see full details of upcoming conference below.

A reminder to our members that Coverforce Insurance continues to offer competitive rates exclusively for ACEVic members. It’s a great opportunity to ensure your organisation is well protected while benefiting from competitive pricing. For more information, please click here.

As always, ACEVic is only ever a phone call or email away—please don’t hesitate to reach out directly if you’d like to catch up or have a chat.
