Building Understanding and Support: ACEVic hosts Conversation on Menopause in the Workplace

ACEVic recently hosted Menopause at Work: A Manager's Guide, a practical and insightful session led by Melanie White, CEO of Sage Women’s Health.

Melanie is a workplace wellbeing consultant, educator, and coach with a background in adult education, strategy, and inclusive leadership. Her work focuses on helping organisations build psychologically safe and equitable workplaces where all staff can thrive at every life stage.

The session explored how managers can confidently navigate conversations about menopause, reduce stigma, and support employees with compassion and understanding.

Participants learned about common menopause symptoms and their impact on wellbeing and performance, strategies to foster inclusion and psychological safety, and practical tools for having supportive, constructive conversations at work.

To further support workplaces, Sage Women’s Health has made a range of free menopause resources available at https://www.sagewomenshealth.com/menopause-resource-downloads, including tools designed to promote awareness and connection within organisations.
