About the event

Inclusive Learning Spaces – Practical Strategies for VET Educators

Workshop Description:

In today’s diverse classrooms, inclusion isn’t just a value, it’s a practice. This interactive workshop is designed for educators who want to create learning environments where every student feels safe, respected, and empowered to succeed. Through activities, collaborative problem-solving, and practical tools, participants will explore how to support neurodiverse learners, manage sensory needs, and understand the importance of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles.

We’ll unpack the emotional weight of disclosure, challenge assumptions about disability, and reflect on how language, structure, and transitions impact learner engagement. You’ll leave with a toolkit of inclusive strategies ready to trial in your own classroom.
